COBRA IS has been awarded a new contract to deliver the cooling system for a hyperscale data centre campus in the Iberian Peninsula.

Worth €165 million, the contract covers the supply and installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment for 126 air-cooled systems. These systems will be capable of cooling the equivalent of 200 MW of computing capacity and are critical to ensuring the campus’s operational reliability.

COBRA IS is also bidding for subsequent construction phases of the campus, which represent a total investment of several billion euros.
